If you want to get a good look at Guanshan Town, the best way is to ride a bicycle along the bicycle path around the town at a leisurely and unhurried pace. This is the country's first bicycle path dedicated to sightseeing and leisure. It is about 12 kilometers long. Riding along the river bank, you can enjoy rich and diverse scenery. You can appreciate the pastoral scenery in about an hour and a half.

The countryside scenery is always fascinating, especially when you come to the rice country, with endless crisscrossing fields, sometimes filled with the fragrance of rice, and sometimes swaying in the wind. The water park is crowded with tourists in the summer, as there is a natural underground stream as the water source, and many children and adults come to play in the lake to cool off. This is also the purpose of the park, to cherish water resources by being close to water and being close to water. The park covers an area of 34 hectares and is located next to the Red Stone Creek. You can take a walk or ride a bicycle. A full ride takes about half an hour. Legend has it that during the Japanese colonial period, each hectare of paddy field could yield about 50 shi, but this place could yield 60 shi, hence the name. However, some say that the mountain was named after the fact that there are 60 huge rocks scattered throughout the camphor forest.

Every year from August to September, when the bright and clear golden daylilies bloom, the undulating mountains echo with the mist, dotted with mist, it is both soft and magnificent, as if you are in a European town; even if it is not the golden daylily season, it is still worth visiting, without the noise of people, the whole mountain seems to be your own, in the quietness you can feel the breeze, the chirping of insects and birds, the layered mountains are clearer, and the village at the foot of the mountain seems to be within reach.

In order to let visiting tourists better understand the golden daylily, many pavilions named after the species of golden daylily have been set up on the mountain, such as Deer Sword, Guanqin, Senkaku, Yellow Flower, Lucong, Shanlan, Forget-me-not, Daylily, and Red Thorn.

Before going up to the high platform, you will first pass through Longtian Village. This village was once a place for Japanese government-run immigration and it was also the earliest Japanese immigration village in Taitung. The largest number of Japanese immigrants came from Niigata and Nagano. Later, due to rampant diseases, the immigration failed, but the village still has a faint Japanese flavor, especially the old Japanese black pine trees, the Longtian Elementary School left over from the Japanese occupation era, and Japanese-style houses. The most obvious is the chessboard-like road. If you want to have a panoramic view of the village, you can go up to the high platform to have a look. Beinan Daxi and Hualien Valley are not far away. The National Museum of Prehistory is located on Museum Road in Taitung City. Its construction was initiated due to the rescue excavation of the Beinan ruins. The preparatory office was finally established on February 1, 1980, and trial operation began on July 10, 2001. It officially opened on August 17, 2002. It is the first museum in Taiwan focusing on prehistory and aboriginal culture, the first museum to combine museums, archaeological sites and natural ecological parks, and the first national museum on the east coast of Taiwan.

The Nanheng Ultra Marathon is one of the international classic events, attracting thousands of ultramarathon runners from all over the world and Taiwan every year.
